Camarillo Scorpions (Camarillo, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Oak Park Eagles (Oak Park, CA), 11-1 in a league challenge.

The Scorpions now own a 4-0 record. They take the field next when they host Simi Valley for a challenge on Friday, March 18. Camarillo will battle a Pioneers squad coming off a 12-11 non-league loss to Westlake (Westlake Village, CA). The Pioneers record now stands at 2-5.

With the loss, Oak Park falls to 7-2 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Royal (Simi Valley, CA) to battle the Highlanders in a challenge on Thursday, March 17. The Highlanders enter the challenge with a record of 6-5. Royal 7-7 in their recent league challenge against Moorpark (Moorpark, CA)
