Carlsbad Lancers (Carlsbad, CA) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad gain a win over the host La Jolla Country Day Torreys (La Jolla, CA), 12-9 in a non-league battle.

The Lancers now have a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Patrick Henry for a non-league battle on Saturday, March 19. Carlsbad will clash with a Patriots squad coming off a 13-4 non-league win over Del Norte (San Diego, CA). The Patriots record now stands at 4-1.

In their next game, the Torreys clash with the Del Norte Nighthawks (San Diego, CA) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, March 22. La Jolla Country Day will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record. The Nighthawks come into the battle with a 2-5 record after their 9-8 non-league win over Santana (Santee, CA).
