The Wood Wildcats routed the host Armijo Royals softball squad by a final score of 22-5 in Wednesday's league battle.
The Wildcats (3-2) will now prepare for their battle against Rodriguez (Fairfield, CA). The Mustangs go into the Monticello Empire League battle with a 1-5 record. In their last battle, Rodriguez was routed by Redwood (Larkspur, CA), 3-1, in a non-league battle.
The Royals now possess a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Vacaville for a Monticello Empire League battle on Friday, March 18. Armijo will meet a Bulldogs squad coming off a 12-0 league loss to Vanden (Fairfield, CA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-5.
