The Bruins now own a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to North Johnston for a Neuse Six 2A challenge on Tuesday, March 22. Beddingfield will battle a Panthers squad coming off a 8-3 league win over Spring Creek (Seven Springs, NC). The Panthers record now stands at 2-2.

With the loss, Goldsboro falls to 0-4 on the campaign. The Cougars host Princeton (Princeton, NC) to battle the Bulldogs in a Neuse Six 2A challenge on Tuesday, March 22. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a record of 6-0. Princeton won 11-7 in their recent non-league challenge against North Duplin (Calypso, NC)
