Mountain Home Tigers (Mountain Home, ID) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Canyon Ridge Riverhawks (Twin Falls, ID), 16-1 in a league challenge.

The Tigers now own a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Gooding for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 18. Mountain Home will face a Senators squad coming off a 1-0 non-league win over Declo (Declo, ID). The Senators record now stands at 4-0.

With the loss, Canyon Ridge falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Riverhawks travel to Vallivue (Caldwell, ID) to face the Falcons in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 25. The Falcons enter the challenge with a record of 4-3. Vallivue lost 7-6 in their recent non-league challenge against Jerome (Jerome, ID)
