Decatur Eagles (Decatur, TX) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Castleberry Lions (Fort Worth, TX), 13-2 in a league challenge.

The Eagles now sport a 8-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bridgeport for a 4A Region I District 7 challenge on Tuesday, March 22. Decatur will face a Bulls squad coming off a 10-2 league loss to Argyle (Argyle, TX). The Bulls record now stands at 7-8.

With the loss, Castleberry falls to 0-8 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Krum (Krum, TX) to face the Bobcats in a 4A Region I District 7 challenge on Monday, March 28. The Bobcats enter the challenge with a record of 9-4.
