California High School Baseball - Monte Vista Christian gets by Alisal

Monte Vista Christian Mustangs (Watsonville, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Alisal Trojans (Salinas, CA), 5-2 in a league test.

With the win, Monte Vista Christian upgrades its record to 4-1 on the season. The Mustangs host Lynbrook (San Jose, CA) to battle the Vikings in a non-league test on Saturday, March 18. The Vikings come into the test with a record of 0-2. Lynbrook lost 10-2 in their recent league test against Milpitas (Milpitas, CA)

With the defeat, Alisal falls to 4-1 on the season. The Trojans host Rancho San Juan (Salinas, CA) to battle the Trailblazers in a PCAL - Mission test on Tuesday, March 21. The Trailblazers come into the test with a record of 1-3. Rancho San Juan lost 8-4 in their recent non-league test against Los Altos (Los Altos, CA)
