South Carolina High School Baseball - Calhoun County defeats Ridge Spring-Monetta

March 16, 2023: Monetta, SC 29105

Calhoun County Saints (St. Matthews, SC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Ridge Spring-Monetta Trojans (Monetta, SC), 13-6 in a league test.

With the win, Calhoun County upgrades its record to 6-1 on the season. The Saints host Horse Creek Academy (Aiken, SC) to battle the Stallions in a non-league test on Tuesday, March 21. The Stallions come into the test with a record of 6-3.

With the defeat, Ridge Spring-Monetta falls to 0-3 on the season. The Trojans travel to North (North, SC) to battle the Eagles in a 1A Region 4 test on Wednesday, March 22. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 0-4. North lost 20-3 in their recent league test against Williston-Elko (Williston, SC)
