Spectators at Thursday's non-league battle between the Glascock County Panthers (Gibson, GA) and the visiting Jasper County Hurricanes (Monticello, GA), saw Glascock County's baseball squad beat Jasper County by a margin of 5-1.
Coming up next, the Panthers play the Twiggs County Cobras (Jeffersonville, GA) in a 1A D-II Area 5 battle, on Friday, March 17. Glascock County will attempt to better on its 5-6 season record.
The Hurricanes now sport a 3-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to Jackson for a non-league battle on Friday, March 17. Jasper County will play a Red Devils squad coming off a 6-5 non-league loss to Lamar County (Barnesville, GA). The Red Devils record now stands at 7-8.
