The Jesuit Blue Jays baseball team scored 6 runs and limited the host St. Augustine Purple Knights to 0 in the Blue Jays league victory on Thursday.
The Blue Jays (10-4) will now prepare for their match against Hahnville (Boutte, LA). The Tigers go into the non-league match with a 10-6 record. In their last match, Hahnville was overwhelmed by Catholic-B.R. (Baton Rouge, LA), 12-7, in a non-league match.
The Purple Knights (4-13) will now prepare for their match against Archbishop Rummel (Metairie, LA). The Raiders go into the 5A District 9 match with a 10-7 record. In their last match, Archbishop Rummel was overwhelmed by St. Paul's (Covington, LA), 6-4, in a non-league match.
