The Payette Pirates baseball team scored 12 runs and limited the host Vale Vikings to 0 in the Pirates non-league victory on Thursday.
The Pirates (2-2) will now prepare for their match against Weiser (Weiser, ID). The Wolverines go into the 3A Snake River Valley match with a 0-5 record. In their last match, Weiser was overwhelmed by Sugar-Salem (Sugar City, ID), 10-5, in a non-league match.
The Vikings (0-2) will now prepare for their match against Parma (Parma, ID). The Panthers go into the non-league match with a 0-2 record. In their last match, Parma was overwhelmed by Homedale (Homedale, ID), 13-2, in a league match.
