The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Carson Colts (Carson, CA) and the host Gardena Panthers (Gardena, CA), saw Carson's volleyball squad beat Gardena by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Carson upgrades its record to 13-4 on the year. The Colts travel to Montebello (Montebello, CA) to play the Oilers in a non-league bout on Saturday, March 18. The Oilers go into the bout with a record of 1-6.

The Panthers now own a 4-2 record. They play next when they host Manual Arts for a non-league bout on Monday, March 20. Gardena will play a Toilers squad coming off a 2-0 league loss to Math & Science College Preparatory (Los Angeles, CA). The Toilers record now stands at 3-3.
