The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Emery Spartans (Emeryville, CA) and the host Pescadero Vikings (Pescadero, CA), saw Emery's volleyball squad beat Pescadero by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Emery upgrades its record to 4-1 on the year. The Spartans travel to Summit K2 (El Cerrito, CA) to play the Dragons in a Bay Area Independent Athletic League bout on Friday, March 17. The Dragons go into the bout with a record of 3-2. Summit K2 lost 3-1 in their recent non-league bout against Quarry Lane (Dublin, CA)

The Vikings now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Mid-Peninsula for a non-league bout on Thursday, March 23.
