In Thursday's non-league battle, the visiting West Johnston Wildcats soccer squad scored a close 4-0 triumph over the Triton Hawks.
The Wildcats (2-2) will now prepare for their battle against East Wake (Wendell, NC). The Warriors come into the Quad County 3A battle with a 2-5 record. In their last battle, East Wake by Southern Wayne (Dudley, NC), 3-1, in a league battle.
The Hawks (2-4) will now prepare for their battle against E.E. Smith (Fayetteville, NC). The Golden Bulls come into the All American 3A/4A battle with a 0-3 record. In their last battle, E.E. Smith by Triton (Erwin, NC), 5-1, in a league battle.
