Spectators at Thursday's non-league battle between the Brevard Blue Devils (Brevard, NC) and the host Patton Panthers (Morganton, NC), saw Brevard's baseball squad knock off Patton by a count of 7-5.

Coming up next, the Blue Devils play the R-S Central Hilltoppers (Rutherfordton, NC) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, March 21. Brevard will attempt to move on its 5-0 season record. The Hilltoppers enter the battle with a 3-1 record after their 2-1 non-league win over East Rutherford (Forest City, NC).
