The Oakmont Vikings baseball team (Roseville, CA), was overwhelmed 7-3 in Thursday's non-league outing with the visiting Del Oro Golden Eagles (Loomis, CA)

The Golden Eagles now hold a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Ponderosa for a non-league outing on Saturday, March 18. Del Oro will face a Bruins team coming off a 5-2 non-league win over McClatchy (Sacramento, CA). The Bruins record now stands at 2-0.

Next, the Vikings face the Granite Bay Grizzlies (Granite Bay, CA) in a non-league outing, on Friday, March 17. Oakmont will attempt to advance on its 1-2 season record. The Grizzlies enter the outing with a 2-1 record after their 7-2 non-league win over Woodcreek (Roseville, CA).
