The Southwestern Randolph Cougars baseball team scored 18 runs and limited the host Trinity Bulldogs to 3 in the Cougars non-league victory on Thursday.
The Cougars (3-3) will now prepare for their match against Randleman (Randleman, NC). The Tigers go into the non-league match with a 6-0 record. In their last match, Randleman ran past Wheatmore (Trinity, NC), 11-0, in a non-league match.
The Bulldogs (3-4) will now prepare for their match against Uwharrie Charter (Asheboro, NC). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 3-2 record. In their last contest, Uwharrie Charter topped Providence Grove (Franklinville, NC), 6-3, in a non-league contest.
