The Patton Panthers lacrosse squad (Morganton, NC), was overwhelmed 17-1 in Thursday's league contest with the visiting Hickory Red Tornadoes (Hickory, NC)

Coming up next, the Red Tornadoes confront the T.C. Roberson Rams (Asheville, NC) in a NW/The Mountain/Western Foothills/Mtn. Foothills contest, on Tuesday, March 21. Hickory will attempt to advance on its 4-0 season record. The Rams enter the contest with a 6-2 record after their 14-5 non-league loss to Myers Park (Charlotte, NC).
