In Thursday's league battle, the visiting Wren Hurricanes soccer squad scored a close 3-2 triumph over the Belton-Honea Path Bears.
The Hurricanes (6-1) will now prepare for their battle against Powdersville (Greenville, SC). The Patriots come into the AAA Region 2 battle with a 6-2 record. In their last battle, Powdersville nudged Southside (Greenville, SC), 10-3, in a league battle.
The Bears (4-2) will now prepare for their battle against Palmetto (Williamston, SC). The Mustangs come into the AAA Region 2 battle with a 2-3 record. In their last battle, Palmetto nudged Fountain Inn (Fountain Inn, SC), 5-3, in a league battle.
