In Thursday's league battle, the visiting Spartanburg Day Griffins soccer squad scored a close 3-2 triumph over the First Presbyterian Academy at Shannon Forest Crusaders.

The Griffins (3-1) will now prepare for their battle against Spartanburg Christian Academy (Spartanburg, SC). The Warriors come into the non-league battle with a 1-1 record. In their last battle, Spartanburg Christian Academy nudged Mead Hall Episcopal School (Aiken, SC), 5-1, in a league battle.

The Crusaders (1-1) will now prepare for their battle against Greenwood Christian (Greenwood, SC). The Hawks come into the SCISA AA Region III battle with a 1-1 record.
