The Long Rebels held off the host New Brockton Gamecocks soccer squad by a margin of 3-2 in Thursday's league match.

The Rebels now sport a 6-7 record. They play next when they host Providence Christian for a 1A-3A Region 2 match on Tuesday, March 21. Long will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Carroll (Ozark, AL). The Eagles record now stands at 8-0.
