Woodlawn Colonels (Birmingham, AL) fans were thrilled Thursday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Parker Thundering Herd (Birmingham, AL), 4-3 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Colonels face the Pell City Panthers (Pell City, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, March 21. Woodlawn will attempt to better on its 1-3 season record.

The Thundering Herd now have a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they host Minor for a 6A Area 10 challenge on Monday, April 3. Parker will face a Tigers team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Bessemer City (Bessemer, AL). The Tigers record now stands at 1-3.
