The Airport Eagles softball team scored 10 runs and limited the host Irmo Yellowjackets to 3 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Airport improves its record to 6-1 on the year. The Eagles travel to Midland Valley (Graniteville, SC) to clash with the Mustangs in a AAAA Region 4 game on Friday, March 17. The Mustangs come into the game with a record of 5-1. Midland Valley won 35-0 in their recent non-league game against Richland Northeast (Columbia, SC)

In their next game, the Yellowjackets clash with the Richland Northeast Cavaliers (Columbia, SC) in a AAAA Region 5 game, on Tuesday, March 21. Irmo will attempt to improve on its 1-6 season record. The Cavaliers come into the game with a 0-5 record after their 35-0 non-league loss to Midland Valley (Graniteville, SC).
