Artesia Bulldogs (Artesia, NM) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Deming Wildcats (Deming, NM), 14-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Bulldogs now own a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they host Los Lunas for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 17. Artesia will battle a Tigers squad coming off a 9-7 non-league win over Cobre (Bayard, NM). The Tigers record now stands at 4-2.

With the loss, Deming falls to 3-7 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Centennial (Las Cruces, NM) to battle the Hawks in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 21. The Hawks enter the challenge with a record of 9-0. Centennial won 5-4 in their recent non-league challenge against Carlsbad (Carlsbad, NM)
