In Thursday's non-league contest, the Capital Jaguars (Santa Fe, NM) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Pojoaque Valley Elks/Elkettes (Pojoaque, NM), by a margin of 16-0.
With the triumph, Capital moves its record to 5-2 on the year. The Jaguars travel to Taos (Taos, NM) to play the Tigers in a non-league contest on Tuesday, March 21. The Tigers come into the contest with a record of 0-1. Taos lost 17-13 in their recent non-league contest against St. Michael's (Santa Fe, NM)
In their next game, the Elks/Elkettes play the Robertson Cardinals (Las Vegas, NM) in a non-league contest, on Monday, March 20. Pojoaque Valley will attempt to move on its 1-4 season record. The Cardinals come into the contest with a 2-1 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Silver (Silver City, NM).
