In Thursday's non-league contest, the Cibola Cougars (Albuquerque, NM) softball team overwhelmed the host Rio Rancho Rams (Rio Rancho, NM), by a margin of 12-3.
With the triumph, Cibola moves its record to 10-1 on the year. The Cougars travel to La Cueva (Albuquerque, NM) to play the Bears in a non-league contest on Friday, March 17. The Bears come into the contest with a record of 6-1. La Cueva won 9-5 in their recent non-league contest against St. Pius X (Albuquerque, NM)
In their next game, the Rams meet the St. Pius X Sartans (Albuquerque, NM) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, March 18. Rio Rancho will attempt to advance on its 6-3 season record. The Sartans go into the battle with a 5-5 record after their 9-5 non-league loss to La Cueva (Albuquerque, NM).
