University Prep Panthers (Redding, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Fall River Bulldogs (McArthur, CA), 11-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Panthers now own a 4-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Oroville for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 21. University Prep will battle a Tigers squad coming off a 12-2 non-league loss to River Valley (Yuba City, CA). The Tigers record now stands at 1-1.

With the loss, Fall River falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Chester (Chester, CA) to battle the Volcanoes in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 24. The Volcanoes enter the challenge with a record of 0-4. Chester lost 19-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Quincy (Quincy, CA)
