North Carolina High School Softball - North Gaston bounces Forestview

March 16, 2023: Gastonia, NC 28056

The North Gaston Wildcats routed the host Forestview Jaguars softball squad by a final score of 16-5 in Thursday's league battle.

The Wildcats (3-2) will now prepare for their battle against Kings Mountain (Kings Mountain, NC). The Mountaineers go into the Big South 3A battle with a 3-2 record. In their last battle, Kings Mountain notched a victory over Huss (Gastonia, NC), 21-1, in a league battle.

The Jaguars now possess a 4-2 record. They play next when they travel to Ashbrook for a Big South 3A battle on Tuesday, March 21. Forestview will meet a Greenwave squad coming off a 10-0 league loss to Crest (Shelby, NC). The Greenwave record now stands at 1-4.
