Virginia High School Softball - Franklin falls to Southampton

In Thursday's league outing, the host Southampton Indians softball team scored a nice 26-0 win over the Franklin Broncos.
Coming up next, the Indians battle the Surry County Cougars (Dendron, VA) in a Tri-Rivers outing, on Tuesday, March 21. Southampton will attempt to upgrade on its 1-0 season record. The Cougars enter the outing with a 1-2 record after their 12-2 non-league loss to Bruton (Williamsburg, VA).
The Broncos (0-2) will now prepare for their outing against Greensville County (Emporia, VA). The Eagles enter the Tri-Rivers outing with a 0-1 record. In their last outing, Greensville County was routed by Nottoway (Nottoway, VA), 7-0, in a non-league outing.
