North Carolina High School Softball - North Stanly edged by Gray Stone Day

The North Stanly Comets softball team (New London, NC), was tipped 5-4 in Thursday's league test with the visiting Gray Stone Day Knights (Misenheimer, NC)

Coming up next, the Knights encounter the Union Academy Cardinals (Monroe, NC) in a Yadkin Valley 1A/2A test, on Monday, March 20. Gray Stone Day will attempt to improve on its 3-4 season record. The Cardinals enter the test with a 7-0 record after their 8-0 league win over Robinson (Concord, NC).

The Comets (4-4) will now prepare for their test against South Stanly (Norwood, NC). The Rowdy Rebel Bulls enter the Yadkin Valley 1A/2A test with a 4-1 record. In their last test, South Stanly tipped Mount Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, NC), 9-1, in a league test.
