North Carolina High School Softball - Madison bounces Mitchell

March 16, 2023: Marshall, NC 28753

The Madison Patriots routed the visiting Mitchell Mountaineers softball squad by a count of 17-0 in Thursday's league battle.

The Patriots (4-3) will now prepare for their battle against Draughn (Valdese, NC). The Wildcats go into the Western Highlands 1A/2A battle with a 6-0 record. In their last battle, Draughn topped Owen (Black Mountain, NC), 9-7, in a league battle.

The Mountaineers now sport a 0-4 record. They play next when they travel to Owen for a Western Highlands 1A/2A battle on Tuesday, March 21.
