The Mount Tabor Spartans softball team scored 26 runs and limited the visiting Western Guilford Hornets to 9 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Mount Tabor moves its record to 2-3 on the year. The Spartans travel to Glenn (Kernersville, NC) to clash with the Bobcats in a Central Piedmont 4A game on Tuesday, March 21. The Bobcats come into the game with a record of 2-6.

In their next game, the Hornets clash with the Southeast Guilford Falcons (Greensboro, NC) in a Metro 4A game, on Tuesday, March 21. Western Guilford will attempt to move on its 2-5 season record. The Falcons come into the game with a 2-3 record after their 15-4 non-league loss to Ledford (Thomasville, NC).
