The Comer Tigers baseball team (Sylacauga, AL), was overwhelmed 18-2 in Saturday's league outing with the visiting Westminster School at Oak Mountain Knights (Birmingham, AL)
The Knights now hold a 11-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Vincent for a 2A Area 9 outing on Wednesday, March 20. Westminster School at Oak Mountain will confront a Yellow Jackets team coming off a 10-0 non-league win over St. Clair County (Odenville, AL). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 11-1.
Next, the Tigers confront the Thorsby Rebels (Thorsby, AL) in a non-league outing, on Monday, March 25. Comer will attempt to advance on its 6-9 season record. The Rebels go into the outing with a 9-7 record after their 5-4 non-league win over Montgomery Academy (Montgomery, AL).
