Capistrano Valley Christian Eagles (San Juan Capistrano, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Avalon Lancers (Avalon, CA), 14-4 in a league challenge.

The Eagles now own a 9-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Calvary Chapel for a San Joaquin challenge on Monday, March 18. Capistrano Valley Christian will clash with a Grizzlies team coming off a 22-3 league win over Samueli Academy (Santa Ana, CA). The Grizzlies record now stands at 8-3.

In their next game, the Lancers clash with the Jurupa Valley Jaguars (Jurupa Valley, CA) in a non-league game, on Saturday, March 23. Avalon will attempt to improve on its 0-7 season record. The Jaguars come into the game with a 6-5 record after their 8-6 league loss to Miller (Fontana, CA).
