Glenwood Titans (Chatham, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Belleville West Maroons (Belleville, IL), 11-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Titans now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Normal University for a Central State Eight challenge on Tuesday, March 19. Glenwood will battle a Pioneers squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Phillips Academy (Andover, MA). The Pioneers record now stands at 3-0.

With the loss, Belleville West falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Maroons travel to Columbia (Columbia, IL) to battle the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 19. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 2-0. Columbia won 8-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Civic Memorial (Bethalto, IL)
