Nevada High School Softball - Carson holds off Reno

Spectators at Saturday's non-league match between the Carson Senators (Carson City, NV) and the host Reno Huskies (Reno, NV), witnessed Carson's softball squad tip Reno by a count of 10-8.

The Senators now sport a 2-3 record. They play next when they travel to McQueen for a 5A North match on Thursday, March 21. Carson will face a Lancers squad coming off a 12-6 non-league loss to Reed (Sparks, NV). The Lancers record now stands at 0-6.

With the loss, Reno moves to 1-2 on the season. The Huskies travel to Bishop Manogue (Reno, NV) to face the Miners in a non-league match on Tuesday, March 19. The Miners go into the match with a record of 4-5. Bishop Manogue lost 11-1 in their recent league match against Douglas (Minden, NV)
