The Churchill County Greenwave softball team scored 10 runs and limited the visiting North Valleys Panthers to 7 in the Greenwave non-league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, Churchill County improves its record to 3-1 on the year. The Greenwave travel to Fernley (Fernley, NV) to clash with the Vaqueros in a 3A North - East game on Friday, March 22. The Vaqueros come into the game with a record of 5-3. Fernley won 13-0 in their recent non-league game against Wooster (Reno, NV)

In their next game, the Panthers clash with the South Tahoe Vikings (South Lake Tahoe, CA) in a 3A North - West game, on Wednesday, March 20. North Valleys will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record. The Vikings come into the game with a 0-5 record after their 15-0 non-league loss to Lowry (Winnemucca, NV).
