South Fremont Cougars (St. Anthony, ID) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Filer Wildcats (Filer, ID), 15-6 in a non-league challenge.

The Cougars now own a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to West Jefferson for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 19. South Fremont will battle a Panthers squad coming off a 21-0 non-league loss to Gunnison Valley (Gunnison, UT). The Panthers record now stands at 0-1.

With the loss, Filer falls to 1-3 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Wendell (Wendell, ID) to battle the Trojans in a non-league challenge on Monday, March 18. The Trojans enter the challenge with a record of 2-1. Wendell won 14-4 in their recent non-league challenge against Glenns Ferry (Glenns Ferry, ID)
