Mission Bay Buccaneers (San Diego, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the host La Jolla Vikings (La Jolla, CA), 12-4 in a non-league challenge.

The Buccaneers now own a 1-9 record. They take the field next when they host Mission Vista for a non-league challenge on Monday, March 18. Mission Bay will battle a squad coming off a 6-1 non-league win over West Hills (Santee, CA). The record now stands at 5-4.

With the loss, La Jolla falls to 1-9 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to San Dieguito Academy (Encinitas, CA) to battle the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 19. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a record of 1-5. San Dieguito Academy won 8-4 in their recent non-league challenge against Ramona (Ramona, CA)
