Sacred Heart of Jesus Comets (Los Angeles, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting St. Mary's Academy Belles (Inglewood, CA), 15-4 in a league challenge.

The Comets now own a 6-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bishop Conaty-Loretto for a Santa Fe challenge on Thursday, March 21. Sacred Heart of Jesus will battle a Wildcats squad coming off a 25-0 league win over St. Bernard (Playa del Rey, CA). The Wildcats record now stands at 10-4.

With the loss, St. Mary's Academy falls to 2-7 on the campaign. The Belles travel to St. Genevieve (Panorama City, CA) to battle the Valiants in a Santa Fe challenge on Tuesday, March 19. The Valiants enter the challenge with a record of 2-2. St. Genevieve lost 11-1 in their recent league challenge against Bishop Conaty-Loretto (Los Angeles, CA)
