North Carolina High School Baseball - Brevard loses to East Rutherford

March 17, 2022: Forest City, NC 28018

The East Rutherford Cavaliers crushed the visiting Brevard Blue Devils baseball team by a count of 13-1 in Thursday's league bout.

The Cavaliers now possess a 6-1 record. They play next when they host Chase for a Mountain Foothills Seven 2A test on Tuesday, March 22. East Rutherford will battle a Trojans squad coming off a 10-0 non-league win over Charlotte Stampede (Charlotte, NC). The Trojans record now stands at 2-3.

With the defeat, Brevard falls to 4-2 on the season. The Blue devils travel to R-S Central (Rutherfordton, NC) to battle the Hilltoppers in a Mountain Foothills Seven 2A test on Tuesday, March 22. The Hilltoppers come into the test with a record of 5-0. R-S Central won 3-1 in their recent league bout against Hendersonville (Hendersonville, NC)
