The Central Wildcats the visiting Ruston Bearcats baseball team by a tally of 6-1 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Wildcats now hold a 6-1 record. They take the field next when they host St. Charles Catholic for a non-league bout on Friday, March 18. Central will face a Comets team coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to Live Oak (Watson, LA). The Comets record now stands at 9-6.
Next, the Bearcats face the Teurlings Catholic Rebels (Lafayette, LA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, March 18. Ruston will attempt to advance on its 8-3 season record. The Rebels enter the bout with a 13-0 record after their 8-0 non-league win over Cecilia (Cecilia, LA).
