California High School Baseball - Chaparral gets by Murrieta Valley

Spectators at Thursday's league battle between the Chaparral Pumas (Temecula, CA) and the visiting Murrieta Valley Nighthawks (Murrieta, CA), saw Chaparral's baseball squad knock off Murrieta Valley by a count of 7-5.

Coming up next, the Pumas play the Vista Murrieta Broncos (Murrieta, CA) in a Southwestern battle, on Tuesday, March 22. Chaparral will attempt to move on its 8-5 season record. The Broncos enter the battle with a 8-4 record after their 7-6 league win over Murrieta Mesa (Murrieta, CA).

The Nighthawks now possess a 3-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Sonora for a non-league battle on Saturday, March 19. Murrieta Valley will play a Raiders squad coming off a 4-4 non-league Torrance (Torrance, CA). The Raiders record now stands at 3-9.
