The Vale Vikings baseball team scored 8 runs and limited the host Cole Valley Christian Chargers to 6 in the Vikings non-league victory on Thursday.
The Vikings (1-1) will now prepare for their match against New Plymouth (New Plymouth, ID). The Pilgrims go into the non-league match with a 2-5 record. In their last match, New Plymouth by Marsing (Marsing, ID), 9-8, in a non-league match.
The Chargers (2-3) will now prepare for their match against Melba (Melba, ID). The Mustangs go into the 2A Western Idaho match with a 3-4 record.
