The Rison Wildcats baseball team scored 12 runs and limited the host Drew Central Pirates to 9 in the Wildcats league victory on Thursday.
The Wildcats (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Smackover (Smackover, AR). The Buckaroos go into the 3A Region 8 match with a 1-1 record.
The Pirates (1-1) will now prepare for their match against Dumas (Dumas, AR). The Bobcats go into the 3A Region 8 match with a 0-4 record. In their last match, Dumas by Smackover (Smackover, AR), 15-0, in a league match.
