East Carter Raiders (Grayson, KY) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Mason County Royals (Maysville, KY), 8-4 in a non-league game.
The Raiders (2-0) will now prepare for their game against Lewis County (Vanceburg, KY). The Lions go into the non-league game with a 1-1 record.
The Royals (0-2) will now prepare for their game against Powell County (Stanton, KY). The Pirates go into the non-league game with a 1-0 record. In their last game, Powell County tipped Morgan County (West Liberty, KY), 10-2, in a non-league game.
