The Fayette County Tigers baseball team scored 23 runs and limited the visiting South Lamar Stallions to 5 in the Tigers non-league victory on Thursday.
The Tigers (7-4) will now prepare for their match against Gordo (Gordo, AL). The Green Wave go into the non-league match with a 5-2 record. In their last match, Gordo gained a win over Hamilton (Hamilton, AL), 3-0, in a non-league match.
The Stallions (2-5) will now prepare for their match against Hubbertville (Fayette, AL). The Lions go into the non-league match with a 4-7 record. In their last match, Hubbertville was overwhelmed by Marion County (Guin, AL), 22-8, in a league match.
