Mississippi High School Baseball - Lawrence County loses to Purvis

In Thursday's league game, the visiting Purvis Tornadoes baseball team scored a nice 20-1 victory over the Lawrence County Cougars.
The Tornadoes (12-1) will now prepare for their game against Forrest County Agricultural (Brooklyn, MS). The Aggies go into the 4A Region 7 game with a 4-8 record. In their last game, Forrest County Agricultural was overwhelmed by Columbia (Columbia, MS), 11-6, in a league game.
The Cougars (7-6) will now prepare for their game against Poplarville (Poplarville, MS). The Hornets go into the 4A Region 7 game with a 10-3 record. In their last game, Poplarville was overwhelmed by Sumrall (Sumrall, MS), 6-4, in a league game.
