The Serra Padres volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory Fightin' Irish to 1 in the Padres league victory on Thursday.

The Padres now possess a 6-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Valley Christian for a WCAL game on Tuesday, March 22. Serra will meet a Warriors team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Silver Creek (San Jose, CA). The Warriors record now stands at 1-4.

The Fightin' Irish (5-8) will now prepare for their game against Archbishop Mitty (San Jose, CA). The Monarchs enter the WCAL game with a 6-2 record.
