The Pinole Valley Spartans topped the visiting Kennedy Eagles volleyball team by a score of 3-1 in Thursday's league test.

The Spartans now have a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bethel for a Tri-County test on Tuesday, March 22. Pinole Valley will confront a Jaguars team coming off a 3-0 league win over Salesian College Preparatory (Richmond, CA). The Jaguars record now stands at 5-2.

The Eagles (3-5) will now prepare for their test against De Anza (El Sobrante, CA). The Dons enter the non-league test with a 11-4 record. In their last test, De Anza gained a win over El Cerrito (El Cerrito, CA), 3-0, in a league test.
